in Fellowship Hall

Part of our Catch the Wave vision is to refresh our structures. Starting in January, we take a course TOGETHER to clarify our understanding of membership here at Meadows. We’ll be discussing the book “I am a Church Member”. Books are available at the Welcome Center for a suggested donation of $5.

FOR NURSERY & TODDLERS
For our littlest ones, they will be cared for and nurtured by our loving adults and helpers in Room 215. This allows all parents to attend our Worship Service at 9:30am AND our Know Love Become Hour at 11am without worry  or distractions.
FOR KIDS
Our Preschool thru 6th Grade course will  be “Digging into Discipleship”.  This year’s curriculum brings a fresh approach to growing a life long relationship with God. Kids will discover what it means to reflect the heart of God in everyday life through engaging lessons that include games, songs, crafts or activities around the Bible story of that day. Our goal is that every child will be exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in creative ways that they can understand, respond to and grow in.

FOR TEENS
This year, our Junior an Senior High will be learning to Know, Love and Become like Jesus in a course that offers an overview of Basic Christian Doctrine called “Foundations”. Carl Goding will lead a class and discussion group that challenges our young adults regarding the nature of truth, God, Jesus, salvation, damnation, the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, the Gospel, resurrection and more.

BIBLE STUDIES
LADIES’ TUESDAY MORNINGS at 9am
Led by Darla Hummel
TUESDAY MORNINGS is a multi-generational group of ladies that meet on Tuesdays from 9am-11am in Room 214. The group is studying a book by Dr. David Jeremiah called “Women of the Bible”. This 10-session book tells some of his favorite accounts of these women— Sarah, Abigail, Esther, the Samaritan woman, Mary Magdalene, and others— and describes what set them all apart.

REAL – TUESDAYS at 7pm
Led by Jo Suiter
REAL is for women of all seasons in life who are seeking relationships, encouragement, accountability and laughter. They are currently examining the book of “Colossians”  together. Each week the women meet for a brief large group time filled with fellowship, personal testimonies, and a brief review and guidance on studying passages. Then, they split into a smaller group time looking more in depth at the passages of Philippians, sharing life experiences and praying together.

Our college-aged/young adult ministry meets the first three Sundays after church and at 6:30pm on the 4th Sunday in various homes.

Our high-paced, quickly changing world has so much to offer us. There is a seemingly unending list of ways we can spend our time. But, with all of these options and offerings, it can be difficult to find opportunities for truly meaningful connections. Having relationships built on the truth of God’s Word offers us a strength that is uncommon. As we figure out the next steps in life, we need those authentic connections more than ever. We strive to connect to each other and to God. So whether you meet with us each week, have never met with us before, or used to participate in a Christian community but don’t any longer…would you stay connected?
