Preparing for Worship Feb 28

from Mark Hoffman

Praise the Lord!

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,

in the company of the upright, in the congregation.

Psalm 111:1

We begin this week by gathering before the Lord as his people and declaring in song that Our God Saves. Later on, in today’s sermon text from Ephesians, we will hear about responding to the the Lord not just outwardly, on the surface, but from the heart. Psalm 111 will provide for us words of worship to proclaim from the heart together, and we will continue in response singing Behold Him and Cornerstone.

Following our Children’s Church dismissal (all kids Kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to attend) and a few brief announcements, Pastor Andrew will continue our Built Together sermon series with a message from Ephesians 6:5-9. We’ll respond together to the truth of God’s Word through the taking of communion, and in song with Christ Is Enough. We will then conclude our time of worship with Giving, prayer, and a Benediction.

Please take some time to prayerfully engage with the Scripture and songs above. Pray for our time of gathered worship together and come prepared to respond to the Lord from the heart.

See you on Sunday,
