Preparing for Worship – June 14th, 2020

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

“For who has known the mind of the Lord,

or who has been his counselor?”

“Or who has given a gift to him

    that he might be repaid?”

For from him and through him and to him are all things.

To him be glory forever. Amen.

Romans 11:33-36

This week, we once again gather virtually via live-stream to give glory to our great and all-knowing God through worship. We’ll begin by lifting our voices to praise him in song with Rejoice and Behold Him. Then, following a few brief announcements and a special time for our kids, I will have the great privilege of preaching God’s Word as we continue our God Is… sermon series. This week’s message is called “God Is Omniscient” and our main text will be Psalm 139. In response to the truth of Scripture and this amazing attribute of God, we will sing praise to the Lord with His Mercy Is More. To conclude our time together we will pray, have a time of Giving, and close with a Benediction. If you have a prayer request you’d like to share this week, email it to:

Please prepare your heart and mind to encounter God through worship this week. Prayerfully take in the message of the Scripture and songs above. Please also be in prayer for me, as well as for Jim Herold and the rest of the worship team and tech team as we seek to honor God in our service. For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.
