Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

 Philippians 2:5-11

This is our Lord and Savior whom we worship! He is the humble suffering servant, and he is the highly exalted King over all. He is the lion and the lamb, the one who died and was raised. It is our mission here at Meadows Christian Fellowship to know, love, and become like Jesus Christ… and our worship on Sunday mornings is a huge part of pursuing that mission together. Will you join us?

We worship through singing songs, reading and receiving Scripture, and lifting up prayers to God. The church is made up of all generations, so kids are always welcome! We have childcare available throughout the service for ages 3 and under, and a special Kids’ Time and activity bags during the service for all of our young worshipers. Central to our worship is hearing from God through the preaching of the Bible. Pastor Michael Mackens continues our sermon series in Matthew looking at what Jesus has to say about the end times in Matthew 24:15-35.

You can prepare for gathered worship by finding a few moments to simply engage with the Scripture and songs for this week. Ask God to use our time together to draw you closer to Him, to build up His church, and to glorify Himself. This week’s song playlist can be found on Spotify and YouTube. Everything you need to know about our Sunday worship services can be found on our website.

See you this Sunday!
