Meadows is a family who feels called by God to come alongside adults with developmental disabilities.
We want to provide opportunities for these individuals to know about God, feel His love, and be included in our church family.
OUR MISSION

To honor God by helping adult people with intellectual disabilities to Know, Love, and Become like Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE
  • God is the creator of all and has a purpose for every life
  • People who have intellectual disabilities deserve a chance to know about God and feel His love
  • Redemption is a gift to all, not dependent on a certain level of intelligence
  • God loves people with disabilities and blesses those who love them
  • People with disabilities are a necessary part of the body of Christ
  • God is glorified through people with disabilities
OUR PROGRAM

At Caring Friends, we celebrate Faith, Family, Friends, and Food as the good gifts from God that they are.

Our program is divided into two segments. We begin in celebration of the gifts of Faith and being together as the Family of God. Included in the first hour are many of the elements of a typical church service. We sing, pray, and share. We explore what the Bible says and what it means for us today.

In the second hour, we celebrate the gifts of Friends and Food as we enjoy the company of each other around the table. Pizza, salad, and a lite dessert is served. We share what is going on in our lives and how we can pray for each other. In all that we do, we try to help friends see themselves as individuals whom God loves and has gifted in specific ways to bless others and honor Him.
