Basic Job Description

Meadows Christian Fellowship is an active local church seeking an individual gifted by God to help us reach our diverse community by guiding and growing our worship ministry. The worship leader will work closely with our Senior Pastor to develop worship services and teams that help foster dynamic worship and lead our congregation to experience the greatness of God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Spirit.

Description of Duties:
➢ Plan and lead Sunday worship gatherings in coordination with Senior Pastor
➢ Oversee logistical details and worship team scheduling
➢ Lead mid-week and Sunday morning rehearsals
➢ Create Sunday worship service presentation in Proclaim
➢ Ensure tech team is equipped and trained
➢ Manage worship ministry budget

Minimum Requirements:
➢ An increasing devotion and delight in Christ
➢ Ability to articulate an accurate and foundational understanding of Biblical theology
➢ Skill in reading music and understanding basic music theory
➢ Strong vocal ability with preferred proficiency in a lead instrument (ie. guitar or piano)
➢ Experience with live sound equipment and media tools
➢ Administrative and organizational skills
➢ Ability to instruct, coach and encourage worship team participants
➢ Alignment to MCF statement of faith and core values
